Meet Dr Claire Jenkins

Dr. Claire Jenkins is a registered small-animal veterinarian with over 20 years of clinical experience across Australia and the UK. As the official Vet Ambassador for Breeder’s Choice and the Founder and CEO of VetChat, Australia’s leading veterinary telehealth service, she is dedicated to shifting pet care from reaction to early prevention.

Dr. Jenkins backs her clinical authority with extensive, specialised credentials. She holds advanced certifications in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Feline Dermatology, and Obesity Management, and is a fully certified Hills Nutritional Advisor. This rigorous background allows her to provide Breeder's Choice readers with evidence-based, highly practical guidance on feline health, diet, and overall wellbeing.

Having seen first hand the stress pet parents face when accessing care, Dr. Jenkins uses her platform to empower owners with timely, trusted veterinary advice. When she isn't advocating for animal welfare or reshaping veterinary telehealth, Claire is a devoted pet parent to her own beloved furry companions, Rosie and Rex.
